Insightful podcasts
Ritholtz’s podcast is quite good. His guests are a lot of active managers but I find their conversations on the macro environment and investing interesting, and just tune out the active pitch.

Solid podcaster
Barry has a finance podcast that I stopped listening to, because it was the same thing over and over from different people. But something I like is that he does some simple questions at the end. He also forces the interviewees to stay on a subject and talk about it whether it's good or bad - something I really appreciate.

CPI and inflation right
Barry Ritholtz writes about this extensively. It makes CPI an extremely-lagging indicator of inflation, on which he was correct. I'd say he's a pretty solid follow.
